My full name is Kandice DeLuccy. I was born and raised in New York. The word, "Always" was and still is a very important word in our family. Growing up, my family and I were very close to our grandparents. They were the perfect couple. They had the perfect love. The name of their wedding song was called "Always." My grandmother loved the song so much that she used the word as often as possible. Especially with signing her name in a card. She even had a gold necklace that my grandfather gave her that read, always. The word was used so much that it kind of stuck with a few of her grandchildren, including myself. It's a really special word to me, and I wanted to include it in my jewelry business name.

The word, Kandid, is simply my name in short - Kandi D. Not only is Kandid my name, but it's also another word, just spelled differently (candid).

Always Kandid has two meanings behind the name - Always, Kandi D. (a signing of my name like my grandmother did on her cards) And Always Honest, Real, and Straightforward (the definition of the word, candid).
